Old Jewish Cemetery (Švihov u Klatov)

The old Jewish cemetery in Švihov u Klatov (German Schwihau ), a town in Okres Klatovy in the Czech Republic , was probably laid out around 1640/1650. The Jewish cemetery has been a protected cultural monument since 1988 .
There are still around 140 gravestones ( Mazevot ) in the cemetery today . The deceased Jews from the surrounding villages were also buried in the cemetery.
The New Jewish Cemetery was laid out around 1875 and is barely occupied.
