The old office building at Städtle 27 in Vellberg is a historical secular building .

description

The three-storey half-timbered building was built in 1528 on a solid stone base and served as the seat of the Hall of Vogt for the imperial city of Vellberg until 1819 . Johann Friedrich Reik captured the old office building on a watercolor. However, the royal camera office in Württemberg had no interest in the construction and the building had been in private hands since 1824. In 1978 the city of Vellberg acquired the building and expanded it into the second town hall building by 1983. In 2004 the building was connected to the new seat of the city administration in the upper castle with a walkway made of steel and glass .
