Local coat of arms and date 1740

The old town hall in Untergruppenbach in the district of Heilbronn in northern Baden-Württemberg was built in 1739/40 and served as the town hall until 1963 .

The master builder Franz Häffele , who was in the service of the local lords of the time, the Fugger , built the town hall with its characteristic gate passage, presumably on the foundation walls of a previous building, in 1739/40. The roof turret (once with a bell and weather vane) dates from 1822. The building was used as the town hall until 1963, since then the former rectory acquired by the community has served as the town hall of Untergruppenbach . The old town hall was sold privately in 1963 and has been used as a residential building ever since.
