- after the 1st division of Poland, the provinces of East and West Prussia , especially at the time of their unification to form the Province of Prussia .
- the Prussian areas already before the Reichsdeputationshauptschluss (1802/3), in contrast to the areas gained after the Congress of Vienna (New Prussia)
- the Prussian territories before 1866, in contrast to the territories gained during the German War
- the partisans of the “Prussian” virtues, which were perished in Wilhelminism
