Alutec

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Alutec is a water-cooled minibike - a replica of the Polini 911 GPR . It is characterized by its relatively comfortable sitting position. Thanks to the narrow footrests, the Alutec enables particularly large inclines in curves. The drive unit is a water-cooled 2-stroke engine with one cylinder and 39 cm³ displacement . It makes 4.5 kW at 11,000 min -1 . The machine is built in different versions and reaches top speeds of around 80 km / h. The chassis of the machine consists of a magnesium - aluminum - alloy , the empty weight is 25 kg.

Alutec is on the market in different designs:

  • Manifold and resonance silencer connected with hose clamp - This variant is characterized by an even distribution of power over the entire speed range. The top speed is up to 78 km / h, depending on the driver's weight.
  • Manifold and resonance silencer connected with springs - there is little power in the lower speed range. From approx. 50 km / h, however, the power curve increases rapidly, which leads to a higher top speed.
  • Expansion tank mounted in front of the handlebar - ease of maintenance and cooling performance should have been significantly improved here.
