Alvar Hägglund (born August 7, 1913 - † June 23, 1996 ) was a Swedish cross-country skier .
Hägglund, who started for the Skellefteå Aik and the Hofors AIF , took fourth place in the relay at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Chamonix in 1937 . In 1938 he finished fifth in the Wasalauf . At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Zakopane in 1939 , he won the silver medal with the relay. He also achieved sixth place over 50 km there. In 1941 he became Swedish champion with the Hofors AIF relay.
