The 14th Nordic World Ski Championships took place from February 14th to 18th, 1937 in the French winter sports resort of Chamonix . In the post-Olympic year, the athletes from Norway and Finland were extremely successful as always, with the Norwegians clearly number one. The Swedes, on the other hand, who otherwise always belonged to the dominant nations, weakened. There wasn't a single medal for her this year. Italy's athletes were able to secure two bronze medals.
