Nordic World Ski Championships 1980

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 1980 Nordic World Ski Championships were held in Falun, Sweden. The only competition held as part of this world championship was the women's 20 km cross-country skiing, as this was removed from the Olympic program of the 1980 Winter Olympics . The competition was held on March 8, 1980.

However, the 1980 Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun are not regarded as an independent Nordic World Ski Championships, but only as an outsourced competition to the 33rd Nordic World Ski Championships as part of the 1980 Olympic Games.
