Marlies Rostock
Marlies Rostock (born April 20, 1960 in Klingenthal / Sa. ) Is a former German cross-country skier .
The for the SC Dynamo Klingenthal launching Rostock won with the GDR relay team along with Carola Anding , Veronika Schmidt and Barbara Petzold the gold medal on the 4 x 5 km track in the 1980 Olympics in Lake Placid . In addition, she won the silver medal with the GDR relay at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti in 1978 .
Marlies Rostock was married to the Nordic combined skier Uwe Dotzauer for a short time . In her second marriage, the former sportswoman entered into a marriage bond with general music director Stefan Fraas, director of the Vogtland Philharmonie Greiz / Reichenbach .
In 1980 she received the Silver Patriotic Order of Merit .
