Irma Elina Johansson (born April 3, 1932 in Kalix ) is a former Swedish cross-country skier .

Career

Johansson, who started for IFK Kalix and Luleå SK, had her first international success at the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo . There she won the bronze medal with the relay and finished seventh over 10 km. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti in 1958 , she came in 18th place over 10 km. With the relay she won the bronze medal. At the 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley , she won the gold medal with the relay. In addition, she achieved eighth place over 10 km. In the same year she was Swedish champion with the relay of Luleå SK and took third place in the Svenska Skidspelen over 10 km.
