Until 2012, Wiken mainly participated in junior races and the Scandinavian Cup . At the 2009 Junior World Championships in Praz de Lys, she won silver with the relay. She had her first World Cup race in March 2010 in Lahti , which she finished with 28th place in the 15 km pursuit race and thus won her first World Cup points. In the 2010/11 and 2011/12 season she had only a few appearances in the World Cup, in which she could only achieve placements in midfield. At the U23 World Championships 2012 in Erzurum , she won silver in the sprint and bronze in the skiathlon. She finished the Tour de Ski 2012/13 in 11th place. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2013 in Val di Fiemme , she reached 14th place in the skiathlon and won silver with the relay. She finished the Tour de Ski 2013/14 in 17th place. At the Swedish cross-country skiing championships in Falun 2013 she won the gold medal in the skiathlon and silver in the 10 km freestyle. She was Olympic champion with the Swedish cross-country relay at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi . At the Swedish cross-country skiing championships in 2014 in Åsarna, she won silver over 30 km classic. At the beginning of the 2014/15 season, she finished 16th at the Nordic Opening in Lillehammer . She finished the Tour de Ski 2015 in ninth place overall. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun in 2015 , she came 25th in the 30 km classic mass start race, 19th place in the skiathlon and 16th place over 10 km freestyle. In the 2016/17 season she finished 23rd at the Tour de Ski 2016/17 and 33rd at the World Cup final in Québec . At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti in 2017 , she finished 32nd in the 30 km mass start race. She finished the Tour de Ski 2017/18 in 14th place.
