Inger Helene Nybråten (born December 8, 1960 in Fagernes in Fylke Oppland , Norway ) is a former Norwegian cross-country skier who was active in the 1980s and 1990s.

She won a total of nine medals (two gold, three silver and four bronze) at the Olympic Games and World Championships , eight of them with the Norwegian relay. Her greatest successes are the world championship title in 1982 and the Olympic victory in 1984. She won the only medal in an individual race at the 1995 World Cup when she was third in the 15-kilometer race. The best individual results at the Olympic Games are fifth places in the 5-kilometer races of 1984, 1992 and 1994.

In the Cross-Country World Cup , Nybråten won four races, one each in 1984, 1988, 1991 and 1995. Her best place in the overall World Cup ranking was fourth in the 1983/84 season.
