Kalle Jalkanen (born May 10, 1907 in Suonenjoki , † September 5, 1941 in Kirjasalo ) was a Finnish cross-country skier .

Jalkanen, who started for the Lahden Hiihtoseura , was Olympic champion with the Finnish relay at the 1936 Olympic Games in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . He also achieved 12th place over 18 km there. The following year he won the silver medal at the World Championships in Chamonix over 18 km and with the relay. He finished fourth in the 50 km run. At the World Championships in Lahti in 1938 he was able to win the world title over the 50 kilometers. He also won the silver medal over 18 km there. In February 1939 he ran at the world championships in Zakopane in fourth place over 18 km.

Kalle Jalkanen was killed in the rank of corporal on the front lines during the Continuation War in Kirjasalo when he stepped on a mine.
