Krång Erik "Gunnar" Eriksson (born January 3, 1921 in Mora , Dalarna County , † July 8, 1982 ibid) was a Swedish cross-country skier .

Career

Eriksson, who started for the IFK Mora , won the bronze medal over 18 km and the gold medal with the relay at the 1948 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz . In 1949 he achieved his best placement in the Wasalauf with sixth place . At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lake Placid in 1950 he was world champion over 50 km. The following year he won the Lahti Ski Games in the 50 km run. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1954 in Falun , he finished 21st over 50 km and 15th over 30 km. With the season of IFK Mora he was twice Swedish champion (1945, 1950).
