Väinö Veikko Huhtala (born December 24, 1935 in Revonlahti near Siikajoki , † June 18, 2016 in Jämsä ) was a Finnish cross-country skier who started in the late 1950s and 1960s.

His most significant success is winning the gold medal with the Finnish 4x10 km relay at the 1960 Winter Olympics. He won one relay silver medal each at the 1962 World Championships and the 1964 Winter Olympics. Huhtala's best result in an individual Olympic race is fourth in the 15-kilometer run in 1964. He also won in 1960 at the Svenska Skidspelen with the relay. In the Finnish championships he won four times with the relay (1960, 1961, 1963, 1964) and twice over 15 km (1961, 1962). His brother is the former cross-country skier Eino Huhtala .
