Toimi Johannes Alatalo (born April 4, 1929 in Savitaipale ; † May 4, 2014 there ) was a Finnish cross-country skier who started in the 1950s and early 1960s.

His only significant achievement was winning the gold medal with the Finnish 4x10 km relay at the 1960 Winter Olympics . Alatalo's best result in an individual Olympic race was seventh in 1960 over 30km. In 1956 and 1959 he was Finnish champion over 15 km and in 1958 with the relay. At Svenska Skidspelen he achieved third place over 30 km and second place over 15 km in 1956 and in 1959 second place over 30 km and with the relay. At the Lahti Ski Games he won the 15 km run in 1959.
