Lars Bergendahl (born January 30, 1909 in Sørkedalen near Oslo , † June 22, 1997 ) was a Norwegian cross-country skier who was active in the 1930s.

Career

Bergendahl took part in world championships between 1930 and 1939. In 1937 he was world champion over 18 km and with the relay, in 1939 world champion over 50 km. In 1939 he was honored with the Holmenkollen Medal and Morgenbladet Gold Medal.

At the Norwegian Nordic Ski Championships between 1936 and 1938 he won various titles. He won the 18 km title at the Norwegian Championship in 1936 . A year later at the Norwegian Championship in 1937 he secured the title over 30 km. At the Norwegian Championship in Mo i Rana in 1938 , he secured his third title in a row, this time over the 18 km distance.

His uncle Lauritz Bergendahl had also been a cross-country skier and had won the Holmenkollen race five times between 1910 and 1915 .
