Arne Rustadstuen (born December 14, 1905 in Fåberg , Oppland , † April 25, 1978 in Lillehammer ) was a Norwegian cross-country skier and Nordic combined athlete.

Career

Rustadstuen, who started for the Lillehammer Ski Club, won the silver medal over 50 km and the gold medal over 17 km at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo in 1930 . The following year he was seventh over 18 km at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oberhof and won the bronze medal in the Nordic combined . At the 1932 Olympic Winter Games in Lake Placid , he won the bronze medal over 50 kilometers. He also achieved fifth place over 18 km there. In 1934 he became Norwegian champion over 17 km. and took 20th place over 18 km at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun . He also won the 18 km run at the Holmenkollen Ski Festival in 1934 and 1935 and was then honored with the Holmenkollen Medal . He completed his last international race in 1936 at the Olympic Winter Games in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . He came in sixth place over 18 km.
