Lars Erik Eriksen (born December 29, 1954 in Oslo ) is a former Norwegian cross-country skier .

Career

Eriksen won the gold medal in the relay competition with the Norwegian team at the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1982 . Over the 30 kilometers he was able to fight for the silver medal and over the 50 kilometers the bronze medal. He had previously won the bronze medal with the team in 1978 and the silver medal in 1980 .

At the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid , he again won the silver medal with the Norwegian team.

Before the introduction of the Cross-Country World Cup in 1982, Eriksen took second place in the unofficial World Cup overall ranking in 1978 and 1979. In 1980 he was third again. Eriksen won his only World Cup competition in 1984 in Lahti, Finland . There he won over Thomas Wassberg over the 15-kilometer distance.

Eriksen was awarded the Holmenkollen Medal in 1984.
