Nils Bertil Täpp (born October 27, 1917 in Malung , Dalarnas län ; † October 23, 2000 there ) was a Swedish cross-country skier who was active in the late 1940s and early 1950s.

Career

Täpp, who started for Sågmyra IF and Östersunds SK , won the relay gold medal at the 1948 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz . Two years later he won the gold medal with the relay at the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1950 in Lake Placid . In the same year he was third in the 18 km run at the Svenska Skidspelen in Östersund . The following year he won second place in the 18 km run at the Svenska Skidspelen in Sundsvall . At the Olympic Winter Games in Oslo in 1952 , he won the bronze medal with the relay. He was also seventh over 18 km. In 1946 he won the Swedish championships over 15 km, in 1949 he was Swedish champion with the relay of Östersunds SK.
