Matti Raivio (born February 22, 1893 in Pihlajavesi ; † May 25, 1957 ) was a Finnish cross-country skier .

Raivio, who started for the Ähtärin Urheilijat and the Pilajaveden Sk Urheilijat, won second place at the Lahti Ski Games in 1923 over 10 km and 50 km. In 1925 and 1927, he won the 10 km run at the Lahti Ski Games. He also achieved third place over 50 km in 1925 and first place over 50 km in 1927. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti in 1926 , the only 1.69 meter tall Finn was the first world champion in cross-country skiing over 30 kilometers. He also won the 50 km run there. At the 1924 Winter Olympics in Chamonix , he finished seventh over 18 and over 50 km. At the 1928 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz , he started the 50 km run, but did not finish it.
