Sisto Michele Scilligo (* 1911 , † 1992 ) from Formazza was an Italian skier and was a member of the mountain school of the Italian armed forces , the Scuola Militare di Alpinismo, founded in 1934 , from which today's Centro Addestramento Alpino emerged .
Successes (selection)
Scilligo won the silver medal in 18 km cross-country skiing at the Italian championship in 1931 . At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1933 he achieved fifth place in the 4 × 10 km relay together with Frederico De Zulian , Andrea Veurich and Severino Menardi .
At the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , Scilligo was a member of the Italian winning team - his teammates were Enrico Silvestri , Luigi Perenni and Stefano Sertorelli - in the military patrol demonstration competition .
