Enrico Silvestri

Enrico Silvestri (born May 12, 1896 ; † 1977 ) was an Italian skier and officer.

Successes (selection)

At the Olympic Winter Games in St. Moritz in 1928, Silvestri was an officer of the Italian team in the military patrol demonstration competition , which took fourth place. From 1934 he belonged to the newly founded mountain school of the Italian armed forces , the Scuola Militare di Alpinismo , from which today's Centro Addestramento Alpino emerged . In 1935 he won the Trofeo Mezzalama with Carlo Ronc and Attilio Chenoz .

At the Olympic Winter Games in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in 1936 , Silvestri, now with the rank of Capitano , won the gold medal in the military patrol ; his teammates were Sisto Scilligo , Luigi Perenni and Stefano Sertorelli .
