Andrzej Sekuła

Andrzej Sekuła (born December 19, 1954 in Wrocław ) is a Polish cameraman .

Life

Sekuła has lived in the United States since 1980 . He made his début as a cameraman in 1990 for the short film The Brooch Pin and the Sinful Clasp . Two years later he shot the film Reservoir Dogs for the first time with director Quentin Tarantino . The collaboration was repeated in 1994 at Pulp Fiction . Their third collaboration took place a year later on the episode film Four Rooms . In 1998, Sekula made his debut as a director with the gangster film Voodoo Dawn with Michael Madsen in the lead role. In 2002 he shot his second film, Cube 2: Hypercube , for which he also did the camerawork, as he did for his debut film. His third film, The Pleasure Drivers, followed in 2006 .

His work on Pulp Fiction earned him a 1995 BAFTA Film Award nomination .
