Caparić ( Serbian Cyrillic : Цапарић) is a village in western Serbia , near the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina .
Geography and population
The village is located in the Opština Ljubovija , in the Okrug Mačva in the historical region of Azbukovica , part of the Serbian-Bosnian border region Podrinje in the westernmost central Serbia . The place had 326 inhabitants at the 2011 census, compared to 448 in 2002. The population are Serbs .
The municipality capital Ljubovija can be found about 7 km northwest of the place. Caparić is located around 110 km southwest of the Serbian capital Belgrade .
The area around the village is hilly and very forested. The 798 m high mountain Nemić stands around 2 km west of the village.

There is a primary school in the village. Caparić is also the seat of the local Caparić community, which extends over the villages of Caparić, Leović and Vrhpolje .
