Alvaradoia is a genus of butterflies from the family of the cutworm (Noctuidae). The type species of the genus is Alvaradoia numerica ( Boisduval , 1840).
features
The wingspan of the moth varies between 18 and 30 millimeters. The basic color of the forewings shows light brown to chestnut brown tones. The transverse lines as well as the wavy and hemline are white and stand out clearly from the ground, but are differently pronounced in the different species. Ring and kidney defects are outlined in black-brown and white. The fringes on the forewings are alternately brown and white piebald. The hind wings without drawing are gray-brown. The abdomen is very narrow.

The genus Alvaradoia currently includes four species, two of which occur in Europe. The genre is not represented in Germany.

- Alvaradoia numerica ( Boisduval ), 1840, in Corsica and Sardinia
