Alverca da Beira is a place and a former municipality ( Freguesia ) in the Portuguese district of Pinhel . The community had 465 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).

On September 29, 2013, the parishes of Alverca da Beira and Bouça Cova were merged to form the new parish of Alverca da Beira / Bouça Cova . Alverca da Beira is the seat of this newly formed community.
