Alwin Schomaker

Alwin Schomaker (* 1907 in Dümmerlohausen ; † 1982 in Damme ) was a German writer and local researcher .

Career

Schomaker was editor of the Heimatblätter , the supplement to the Oldenburgische Volkszeitung and co-editor of the Heimatkalender. He campaigned for the construction of the museum village in Cloppenburg . From 1961 to 1972 he was a member of the Vechta district council.
