Alxion

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Alxion ( Greek  Ἀλξίων ) is a person from Greek mythology .

He is only mentioned by Pausanias as the father of the King of Pisa Oinomaos , whose father is usually the god of war Ares . Eduard Thraemer suspected that the name Alxion goes back to an old Pisatian nickname for Ares.
