Coat of arms of the "at the end"

The family at the end is an old, middle-class, later noble family from Saxony, from which well-known theologians and high-ranking officers arose.

It is not to be confused with the Saxon Uradelsgeschlecht those of the end .

history

The family line begins in Freiberg with Georg at the end of the old man who died around 1460. Christian Friedrich am Ende , documented in 1799, died in 1813, was the Prussian excise and customs office manager in Jauer . On November 14, 1888, his grandson, the Prussian Major General Theodor, was finally raised to the Prussian nobility and this was confirmed with a diploma in Berlin on February 5, 1889.

coat of arms

The coat of arms shows in gold two overturned black eagle stands turned away. On the helmet with black and gold covers, three gold, black and gold ostrich feathers between the two eagle stands.
In Siebmacher's new heraldic books , the eagle stands are only shown overturned on the helmet.
