Amalie Cramer

Amalie Cramer ( November 30, 1859 in Munich - after 1913 ) was a German theater actress .

Life

The daughter of a painter received her dramatic training at the royal music school in Munich, where Ernst von Possart took her on. In 1879 she began her first engagement at the court theater in Mannheim, where she was led by Dr. Julius von Werther , then director of this court stage, received a lot of artistic support. From there Cramer came to the court theater in Petersburg, and in 1886 to the court theater in Darmstadt , where she made her debut as "Gretchen". She worked there for 16 years in the field of lovers, salon ladies and heroines and in 1901 joined the Association of the Hamburg City Theater.

Further stage stops until the outbreak of the First World War included Karlsruhe and Leipzig . Her further life is unknown.
