In 1184, Nablus withstood a Muslim attack.

Amalrich was last documented in June 1187. In July 1187 the rule of Nablus was conquered by the Muslims under Saladin .

At the latest in 1175 he married Stephanie, the daughter of Baldwin of Ibelin , Lord of Ramla . With her he had a son named Raimund, who died around 1191 during the siege of Acre .
