concept
On the show Amazing Spaces - Big Ideas for Small Spaces, architect George Clarke visits people who make maximum use of small spaces. With a lot of creativity on the part of the builders, horse boxes, shipping containers , old caravans or double-decker buses are used to create unique living or work spaces, some of which are characterized by their classic, but mostly daring and innovative design for optimal use of their small size. Often, beds, tables and seating are integrated into the walls and floor of the room so that they can be folded out if necessary. Furthermore, cavities under benches, stools or beds as well as in walls and floors can be used as additional storage space.
