RTL Living is a digital TV channel of the RTL Group, which also operates the digital channels RTL Crime and Passion . Transmission started on November 27, 2006. The reception channel via Sky was discontinued on July 17, 2018. Since August 28, 2012, the station can also be received via Vodafone Kabel Deutschland . On September 1, NetCologne also took the channel into its offer, here RTL Living is also available in HD for the first time.
RTL Living offers programs and programs in the following areas: trends, lifestyle, enjoyment, living and travel.
The managing director of RTL Television GmbH Frank Hoffmann is also responsible here .
On October 1, 2015, the RTL Group announced that it was relaunching and redesigning its three pay TV channels RTL Living, RTL Crime and Passion (then RTL Passion) on November 12, 2015. At the same time, new station logos will be introduced for these stations.
In the course of the channel re-sorting in 2016, RTL Living received capacity on the 11082 MHz horizontal frequency (DVB-S2, symbol rate SR 22000, error correction FEC 3/4). TOGGO plus has been broadcasting on the old slot since June 1, 2016 .
Since May 17, 2017, RTL Living has also been available in HD on Vodafone Kabel Deutschland, with the channel being distributed in the “HD Premium Plus” package.
