Frank Hoffmann (Manager)

Frank Hoffmann (born March 21, 1966 in Gütersloh ) is a German media manager who succeeded Anke Schäferkordt as head of RTL Germany in 2013 and left this post in 2019.

Career

Hoffmann began his professional career as a freelancer for the Westfalenblatt and the Bonner Rundschau , then he became an editor and photographer at "teuto Press". From 1990 he worked for the television production company "teuto tele". In 1992 Hoffmann switched to RTL and became editor and reporter for the magazine Explosiv , in 1994 he took over the editorial management of Extra , and from 1999 to 2005 he was division manager for all magazines. After Anke Schäferkordt switched to RTL Television , Frank Hoffmann succeeded her as managing director and editor-in-chief of VOX in April 2005 . In 2013 he was her successor again, this time at RTL Germany, and left the station at the beginning of 2019 after Schäferkordt had to leave the RTL Group.
