Watchbox was a German video-on-demand offer that was launched in July 2017 by the RTL subsidiary RTL interactive as the successor to the former video portal Clipfish . Since March 29, 2019, Watchbox has only been available as a "channel" or as a category on TVNOW , but remains free of charge.

The Watchbox offer was available online and via the Watchbox apps for Android , iOS and Windows 10 . All videos could be called up on the television via Chromecast , Amazon Fire TV , Xbox One , LG Smart World or Apple TV (4th generation). In addition, the portal operated HbbTV channels, which could be received free of charge on HbbTV-enabled smart TV sets using the red button via the television programs of the broadcasters RTL , VOX and Nitro .
