The Amazon Lake is a small natural lake in Washington County in Maine . It is located on the north side of the Pineo Mountains in the sparsely populated Grand Lake Stream Plantation at 119 m above sea level. The approximately 130 by 80 meter large lake is traversed by the West Branch Amazon Brook and belongs to the catchment area of the St. Croix River .
