Ambulance

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

An Ambachtsherrlichkeit (Dutch: ambachtsheerlijkheid ) or Niedere Herrlichkeit was a glory in the former Netherlands , a territory of an Ambachtsherrn .

The ambulance differed from the free or high glories in that the Lord did not have high jurisdiction . However, owners of ambulance had the authority over the administration of those; they named the mayors and had access to certain fees from the residents of the Ambachtsherrlichkeit. Originally the gentlemen were in the possession of noblemen, in order to increasingly end up in the hands of rich patricians and cities at the beginning of the Golden Age . This title was very common in Holland and Zeeland . Well-known ambassadors were Wolfhart VI. von Borsselen , Reinoud III. van Brederode , Cornelis de Graeff , Johann Hudde and Nicolaes Witsen .
