Amedeo Gennarelli

Amedeo Gennarelli (* 1881 in Naples , Italy ; † 1943 ) Italian sculptor of Art Deco .

Life

Amedeo Gennarelli was a student of Francesco Jerace . In 1909 he emigrated to France, where he settled in Paris. He was known for his female nudes. He showed his first act in 1913 at the Salon of the Société des Artistes Français , where he exhibited regularly until 1936. For his work he used materials such as bronze, marble, ceramics and occasionally wood. Some of his works were handcrafted and sold by the Éditeur d'art (art publisher) and sculptor Jules Levi-Lehmann as well as Arthur Goldscheider .
