Amemar II
Amemar II ( Amemar from Nehardea ) was a Babylonian Amora of the 6th generation and lived and worked around AD 400.
He was Aschi's teacher and is said to have restored the dilapidated school of scholars in Nehardea and ran it for a long time.
After Aschi's death he is said to have become the head of the school in Sura as his successor (Bab. Beza 22 a).
