Amen 81 is a hardcore / crustcore band from Nuremberg . At the beginning it was still called Corpus Christi . However, they soon replaced this name with "Amen 81" after seeing a car with the license plate "AM - EN 81". The band plays with a classical line-up of guitar, bass and drums, with all three members singing. In terms of text, a broad spectrum of predominantly left-wing, political topics is processed in German. The song Races high from 2006 , for example, addresses the historical revisionist appropriation of the bombing of Dresden by various groups and a general historical revisionism in relation to the German Nazi past.

All releases of the band, which was founded in 1994, are only available on vinyl . Sampler contributions are the only exception .
