American Canadian Grand Lodge

The American Canadian Grand Lodge (ACGL) is one of the five Masonic Grand Lodges in Germany. As such, individual so-called “regular” Masonic lodges (recognized by the United Grand Lodge of England (UGLE)) are united under the umbrella of the ACGL . The American Canadian Grand Lodge AF&AM eV (ACGL) based in Fürstenfeldbruck is a grand lodge and is one of the United Grand Lodges of Germany (VGLvD).

Like the Grand Lodge of British Freemasons in Germany, this grand lodge was originally a military lodge for members of the Allied forces and was founded in West Germany after the Second World War ; the working language at grand lodge level is English .
