American Chemical Society Award in Inorganic Chemistry

The American Chemical Society Award in Inorganic Chemistry has been awarded annually by the American Chemical Society (ACS) for research in inorganic chemistry since 1962 .

It is endowed with $ 5,000.

The prize is awarded for outstanding research on inorganic chemistry (preparation, properties, reactions, structure of inorganic substances) that reveals originality and independence. It is awarded regardless of age, gender, nationality or education. First sponsored by Texas Instruments , from 1976 to 1997 by Monsanto, and now by Aldrich Chemical Company .
