American Football in Israel (AFI) is the umbrella organization for American football in Israel . He is a member of IFAF Europe , a continental federation of the International Federation of American Football (IFAF).
history
The association was founded in 1989 by Steve Leibowitz . In early 2004, the association was recognized by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport .
Events
AFI organizes leagues in flag football for men, women and youth and in tackle football for men and youth. In 2014 they hosted the Flag Football World Cup .
