The team also reached the cup final in the 1913/14 season , which they played with the following line-up: Lombard - Guillaume, Leautaud - Reynaud, Picoul (or Pecoul), F. Mariaud - A. Lussignol (or Sussignol), Mermelin (ermine) Jr., W. Cox, Piroud, Ernesto Spitalier.

history

The association was founded in mid-1911 by students from a religious school. All players in the early years were French or Mexican- born children of French immigrants. In the first few years all encounters were contested within the club or one competed in friendly matches against other teams. In contrast, Amicale Française did not take part in tournaments. That changed in the 1913/14 season , when the club first took part in the game operation of the Liga Mexicana de Football Amateur . After the season that ended in last place, the team fell apart as some of their players returned to France to go to war for their home country .

Years later, it was left to Emilio Spitalier to fill the team with new life. Spittalier originally came to Mexico in November 1910 and was accepted into the team by Amicale Française immediately after the association was founded. He too had gone to war for France and immediately after his return to Mexico began to rebuild the team that had fallen apart.

The newly designed team of the “French” still consisted mostly, but no longer exclusively, of French. With their passionate and fair style of play, the team gained a lot of sympathy from the audience. Nevertheless, the association could not establish itself permanently and was dissolved in 1924. His best players moved mainly to CF México and FV Germania .
