Copa Tower 1913/14

The Copa Tower 1913/14 was the sixth edition of the Mexican soccer cup competition , which until 1921 was named after the British ambassador Reginald Thomas Tower (1860-1939), who had initiated the tournament.

Participants were the six teams that were represented in the Primera Fuerza in the same season . Cup winners in the competition, which at that time was still largely dominated by foreign teams, was for the first time the "local" team of CF México . The final opponent was the Amicale Française team operated by the French minority in Mexico . For them, the final was also a temporary farewell appearance, because in the next few months some of their players returned to France to go to war for their home country .

Like the two semi-finals, the final was held at the Campo del Reforma Athletic Club . The goals for Club México were scored by Arturo Ortiz and team captain Luis Troncoso.

The winning team of CF México consisted of the following players: Cirilo Roa - Genaro Casas, Carlos Rivera - Hernández, Luis Troncoso, Sabino Morales - A. Andrade, Celestino Vázquez, Serafín Cerón, Arturo Ortiz, García de León.
