Copa Tower 1917/18
The Copa Tower 1917/18 was the tenth edition of the Mexican soccer cup competition , which until 1921 was named after the British ambassador Reginald Thomas Tower (1860-1939), who had initiated the tournament.
Participants were the seven teams that were eligible to play for the Primera Fuerza in the same season . The cup winner was Real Club España , which - like FV Germania - had withdrawn prematurely from the game operations of the league round , so that the league of the 1917/18 season only finished with five teams. The final opponent was the Tigres team , which had started the tournament under the name of the Junior Club and renamed itself before the semifinals.
