Copa México 1962/63
The Copa MX 1962/63 was the 21st edition of the football - cup competition since the introduction of professional football in Mexico . The tournament was held following the first division season 1962/63 . Only the 14 teams that were represented in the country's top division in the same season were eligible to participate . The winner was the CD Guadalajara team , which had never won the cup before, although they won the championship five times between 1957 and 1962 . But of all things in the first division season 1962/63, which had just ended, she had lost the sixth championship title on the last day of the match against city rivals Oro , which was almost certain to be believed .
