Juan Jasso

Juan Jasso Martínez (born August 21, 1926 in Guadalajara , Jalisco ; † July 23, 2002 ibid) was a Mexican football player who played almost exclusively for Chivas Guadalajara between 1946 and 1966 and was part of the legendary team that in the nine years between 1957 and 1965 was champion seven times and was nicknamed "Campeonísimo". Usually he was used as a right full-back, occasionally in defensive midfield. The player, also known by the nickname "El Bigotón" (Eng. Career

Jasso was a passionate fan of Club Deportivo Guadalajara even as a child. So it was no wonder that the football enthusiast and talented boy soon donned the red and white jersey of his favorite club. Juan "el Bigotón" Jasso played his last game on October 23, 1966 at the age of 40 in a 3-0 win against CF Madero . After finishing his football career, Jasso became a businessman and opened a snack bar and a sports shop, both of which he ran until his death.
