Baki Davrak

Baki Davrak (* 1971 in Säckingen ) is a German actor .

Life

Davraks grew up in a türkeistämmingen at home. He received his training in Hanover and in the Berlin theater scene. He also remained a stage actor to this day.

His participation in the films Lola and Bilidikid (1997) by Kutluğ Ataman (his first film role) and Dealer (1999) by Thomas Arslan attracted first attention . After that it became quiet again and he denied u. a. worked as a parking attendant in front of a cinema, until Fatih Akin offered him the leading role as a Turkish-born German studies professor Nejat in the internationally award-winning film On the Other Side (2007). In the same year Baki could still be seen in Brinkmanns Zorn by Harald Bergmann .

Participation in television series and films such as Wolffs Revier , Blond: Eva Blond! or My crazy Turkish wedding are a third field of activity of the actor. Here, however, he mostly only had small roles to play. In the radio scene Davrak took from January 2008 to August 2009 in the first four from the WDR produced consequences on the role of Detective Chief Commissioner Nadir Taraki.

The actor also writes. A first volume of poetry was announced for autumn 2007. However, the deadline could not be kept due to other unforeseen obligations.
